Real change. Real support. Real results.
Vertex LLC is a New York City behavioral-health organization with two licensed outpatient programs under one roof: substance use disorder treatment (OASAS Part 822) in the Bronx, Brooklyn and Queens, and Vertex Mental Health (OMH Article 31), now serving the Bronx with new locations coming to Mount Vernon, Queens and Brooklyn. One team coordinates both — so a person who needs help with substance use and mental health is never sent somewhere else.
Compassionate care in a nonjudgmental environment.
Vertex's mission is to create an environment that is nonjudgmental and supportive, based on humanity's attributes. We offer services to women, men, LGBTQ+ and non-binary individuals, families and friends to begin the recovery and healing process, grounded in compassion, respect and trust.
As a licensed OASAS Part 822 outpatient program, we provide evidence-based treatment for substance use disorders alongside mental health services through our Office of Mental Health program. Our clinical team delivers individualized care plans that address the whole person — health, relationships, work, housing, and legal obligations included.
Adults, families, and the people who refer them.
Co-occurring conditions are the norm, not the exception. Because both programs share one clinical team and one coordinated record, assessment, treatment planning and prescribing are aligned from the first visit.
One team. One call.
Substance use and mental health conditions overlap constantly — and the usual answer is a second intake somewhere else. At Vertex, both programs share one front door, one intake, one clinical team and one coordinated record.
Counselors, therapists and prescribers see the same plan, communicate directly, and adjust together. For the client that means fewer appointments to juggle, no re-telling their story, and a treatment plan that addresses the whole picture.
For referral partners it means one phone number, one point of contact and one set of reports.
